Cybersecurity Career Fair 2026

Three days, free, and the Saturday is open to anyone who walks in. The Cybersecurity Career Fair 2026 runs 26–28 November 2026 at the ICT Academy of the Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority, 1 Andrea Chaliou Street, 2408 Engomi, Nicosia. The schedule splits in two, and the distinction matters.

• Thursday 26 and Friday 27 November, 09:00–14:00 — organised school visits. These days are booked through schools, not individually.
• Saturday 28 November, 09:00–17:00 — open to the general public. This is the day to turn up on if you are not arriving with a class.

Who it is aimed at. School pupils, university students, graduates, unemployed people and working professionals looking to move into security. The published purpose is to put career paths in the field in front of people who have no obvious way of meeting the employers: company stands, open job vacancies, internships, training and certification routes, and direct conversation with practitioners. Who is behind it. The Digital Security Authority and the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre of Cyprus (NCC-CY), with stands taken by members of the NCC-CY Cybersecurity Community — booths were offered free to community members, which is why the exhibitor list skews towards firms actually operating on the island rather than recruiters. Exhibitor applications have closed; visitor attendance has not. Why it is on this calendar. Because the island's security competition pipeline and its hiring pipeline are the same set of people, and this is the one weekend a year they are standing behind tables. The Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge is the only route into the national team that goes to the European Cybersecurity Challenge — Cyprus finished 24th of 42 in Bochum this month, up four places — and the employers at this fair are where that cohort lands afterwards. Note the date clash, because it is a real one. The fair's public Saturday, 28 November, is day two of the BoC Fintech Hackathon 7.0 (27–29 November, IDEA Innovation Centre, Nicosia) and the same day as Competen.CY 2026 online. If you are competing in either, the fair is not a realistic add-on; if you are not, it is the better use of the Saturday than watching the leaderboards.
