Competen.CY 2026

Competen.CY is Cyprus's competitive, beginner-friendly hackathon - a fast, high-energy sprint where students, developers and designers build, solve and compete live. Over the event you'll take on three back-to-back games: The Quiz (CTF) on web and backend fundamentals, Fix Me, a race to squash bugs in a broken codebase, and the flagship CyTiles Gamethon, a real-time territory battle on a hex map. Everything runs online and streams live, with mentors, a buzzing Discord community and a helpful bot at your side. It closes with a broadcast awards ceremony - podium, interviews and surprise prizes.
