Smart Paphos 360° Hackathon

Two days at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo campus in Paphos, where students built technology answers to real problems handed over by the Municipality of Pafos. Organised by DiGiNN (Digital Innovation Hub Cyprus) with AUB Mediterraneo, under the theme Sustainable Urban Development of Pafos. Five challenge areas

Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from universities across Cyprus, registering solo or as a team. Two online prep workshops ran before the weekend — Mastering the Pitch (21 November) and Prototyping 101 (28 November) — for registered participants only. Teams worked with academic mentors and industry experts, and the brief asked for ideas with a realistic path to being implemented in the city.
