5th Robotic Day & FIRST Tech Challenge Cyprus 2026

The 5th Pancyprian Robotics Competition — Robotic Day & FIRST Tech Challenge Cyprus 2026 ran across the weekend of 7–8 March 2026 at the Ayios Dometios Sports Center, Nicosia, organised by the non-profit Achievement Foundation for Talented and Gifted Youth. Two competitions, one weekend

• Saturday — Robotic Day Cyprus 2026: robotics challenges built on the LEGO, ENGINO and ARDUINO platforms, open to primary, high school and technical school students.
• Sunday — FIRST Tech Challenge Cyprus 2026: robot games on the advanced REV platform, open to high school and technical school students only.

Scale: around 600–700 student competitors and an expected 1,800–2,000 visitors across the two days. Where the winners go: Robotic Day winners qualified for the Robotic Day competition in Prague, Czech Republic (June 2026). FIRST Tech Challenge Cyprus winners qualified for the FIRST Tech Challenge in Houston, USA (April 2026) and the FIRST Tech Challenge Premier Event in Eindhoven, Netherlands (June 2026). Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, with the support of the Research & Innovation Foundation (RIF/IdEK), the Youth Board of Cyprus (ONEK), ETEK and SIFK.
