4th TechIsland TechPro Community Meetup
Two hours, free, and the people on the panel are the ones who actually hold the keys. The 4th TechIsland TechPro Community Meetup takes place on Monday 3 November 2026, 19:00–21:00, in Limassol, powered by The Vault. Entry is free, drinks and bites included, but registration is required.
The panel: "Inside the Vault: Building Secure Systems for Digital Assets & Data". The stated subject is how organisations actually protect the things that matter — customer data, production databases, API credentials, encryption keys and digital assets.
The line-up, which is the whole argument for turning up.
- Anastasiia Sanina — Head of B2B Partnerships, The Vault
- Denis Rybin — Director of Information Security, inDrive
- Ingrid Camilleri — Chief Digital Officer, Cablenet
- Igor Bulatenko — Head of Information Security, Exness
- Moderator: Andreas Neocleous — Chief Consulting Officer, PwC Cyprus
Read that list again, because it is unusual for this island. Three of the four panellists run security or digital at companies that are among Cyprus' largest private technology employers —
Exness and
inDrive on the platform side,
Cablenet on the infrastructure side. Cyprus has no shortage of cybersecurity events this autumn, but most of them put regulators, vendors and academics on stage. This one puts the serving heads of information security at operating companies in the room and asks them how they do it. That is a different conversation, and it is the one you cannot get from a slide deck.
Who the community is for. TechIsland — the island's largest technology association — built TechPro as a dedicated platform for
CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, technology architects, software developers, DevOps and platform engineers, data and AI specialists, cybersecurity professionals, UX experts and digital transformation leaders. The first three meetups were also powered by The Vault; this is the fourth in the series.
Why the timing is almost comically good. This lands in the middle of the densest cybersecurity week Cyprus has had:
Cyber Resilience 2026 in Nicosia on
2 November with a DG CONNECT deputy director-general, already
sold out; ENISA's
4th European Cybersecurity Skills Conference in Larnaca on
4–5 November, also
sold out. Both of the ticketed, institutional events are closed. The free one, the evening in between, is the one you can still get into.
And there is money attached to the subject matter. Cyprus'
€1.5m grant scheme for innovative cybersecurity products and services — up to
€100,000 per project — closes on
8 December 2026. If you are drafting an application, an evening with four practitioners describing what they actually struggle to secure is cheaper market research than any consultancy will sell you.
Registration: via the TechIsland web form linked from the announcement (webforms.pipedrive.com). Places are not stated as capped, but the previous meetups in this series filled.
The announcement gives the city but not the street address — the venue is confirmed on registration. Panellist titles are as published by the organisers on 29 October 2026.
