Prizes

Branded certificates to finalists. Tech equipment, e.g., micro:bit kits, laptops, or gadgets. Local mentorship or promotional exposure. Travel support for finalists invited to the European Finals in Brussels

Rules

Participants aged 15–19 form teams of 3–5 members and take part in a 24-hour in-person hackathon held between October and December 2025. Each team must develop an original tech solution during the event, addressing a societal challenge aligned with the 2025 theme, “From Code to Community.” Pre-written code is not allowed, though public libraries and open-source tools may be used. Projects are judged based on creativity, technical execution, impact, teamwork, and presentation. The winning team qualifies for the European online final in February 2026, where they will pitch their solution to a jury and public audience.
