1st Engineering Hackathon at UCLan Cyprus

The 1st Engineering Hackathon at UCLan Cyprus took place on 26–27 May 2026 at the UCLan Cyprus campus in Larnaka, bringing together students, academics and industry professionals in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Under the theme of environmental innovation, teams designed and built robotic-based solutions for real-world sustainability challenges, combining creative engineering with practical problem-solving. The inaugural edition was supported by robo.com.cy, HardwareX and the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS), and is intended to become an annual platform that promotes innovation, teamwork, practical learning and stronger links between education and industry.
