Youth Tech Fest Cyprus returns 6 February 2027 - free entry, Roblox hackathon, 40+ UK universities

The 5th Youth Tech Fest Cyprus is set for 6 February 2027 at The Warehouse by IT Quarter in Limassol. Entry is free, and the festival keeps its deliberate focus on social inclusion.

For the coding-minded, the anchor is the Roblox Games Hackathon, open from age 9 up - young builders design and ship their own games over the day. Around it sits the Edutainment Fair with themed zones for robotics, fun science, XR/VR, eco, innovation, gaming, sports and art, plus youth hackathons, robotics and cyber sports tournaments, a cubing league and a chess festival.

Two things worth flagging for older students:

• Youth Unicorn StartUp Contest - a Dragon's Den-style pitch session in front of executives and investors, competing for prizes and possible funding.
• UK Universities Exhibition - 40+ UK universities and colleges, run with the British Council and the British High Commission, alongside essay workshops and mock interview clinics.

The EdX Summit programme brings in the Minister of Education, the British High Commissioner, Invest Cyprus and the Research and Innovation Foundation, with panels on coding in the age of AI, online safety and digital financial literacy.

The festival was again recognised as the world's best festival in its category in 2026, so expect the 2027 edition to fill up.
