Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge 2026 runs 2-9 August - online CTF picks the national team for ECSC
The Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge (CCSC) 2026 takes place online from 2 to 9 August 2026. Organised by the Cyprus Computer Society together with information security specialists from Cypriot academia and industry, the challenge is the national qualifier through which the Cyprus Cyber Security Team is selected and trained.
Participants tackle capture-the-flag challenges spanning cryptography, web and binary exploitation, digital forensics and reverse engineering on the CCSC arena platform. Registration is open and the competition itself welcomes all ages, while the national team is drawn from young talents aged 14-25 with an active interest in information security. Write-ups and challenges from previous years are published by the organisers for anyone who wants to prepare.
The finalists who make the national squad go on to in-person training and then represent Cyprus at the European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) 2026, hosted in Bochum, Germany on 12-16 October 2026.
