DevFest Cyprus 2026 is set for 31 October in Nicosia — one day of AI, Cloud and Flutter

If you are looking for something to fill the gap between the October hackathons and the November ones, GDG Cyprus has just given you a date.

DevFest Cyprus 2026 runs on Saturday, 31 October 2026, 09:30–17:00 in Nicosia. DevFest is the global, community-driven conference series hosted by Google Developer Groups, and the Cyprus chapter is bringing it back for another edition.

What is on the programme

• Expert-led talks on AI, Machine Learning, Firebase, Flutter, Web and Cloud
• A hands-on workshop with a Googler — the afternoon block, 13:45–15:30
• Two networking breaks plus lunch and closing drinks

• 11:45–12:45 — Tech sessions

Worth knowing before you plan

The venue is still listed as TBD and the full agenda and speaker line-up have not been published yet. Organisers say both are coming soon, so if the date works for you it is worth registering interest early rather than waiting for the line-up.

Why it matters for the hackathon crowd: DevFest is where a lot of the people who end up on Cyprus hackathon teams actually meet. The workshop format also makes it a low-cost way to pick up a Google tool you would otherwise be learning under time pressure at 2am during a 48-hour build.
