Zubr Capital hosts its first Young Hackathon in Limassol

Private equity firm Zubr Capital hosted its first Zubr Capital Young Hackathon at the Parklane Hotel in Limassol on 23 October 2025 (11:00–21:00). The free, one-day challenge brought together students from universities across Cyprus and early-stage entrepreneurs to compress months of startup learning into a single day — identifying market needs, building MVPs and crafting investor pitches.

Participants were mentored by Zubr Capital leadership, including founder and CEO Oleg Khusaenov and investment director Nikita Krivelevich, alongside guest founders and investors. Zubr Capital positioned the event as the first in a recurring series aimed at strengthening Cyprus's growing startup ecosystem.
