iFX Hack 2026 wraps in Limassol, winners recognised at iFX EXPO International

iFX Hack 2026, a 24-hour trading and fintech hackathon powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as title sponsor, took place on 13-14 June 2026 at the University of Limassol. Capped at 50 participants, the event brought together developers, students, fintech professionals, entrepreneurs, traders and designers to build solutions over a single continuous day.

Projects were judged across three challenge tracks: AI and intelligent trading, financial security and fraud prevention, and user experience and financial innovation. Entries were evaluated on innovation, technical execution, functionality, problem-solving and potential industry impact.

According to industry coverage, three teams took the top spots across the tracks — Team Trade Mirror (AI & Intelligent Trading), Team Grongo (Keep Money Safe) and Team UCY Finter (Make Finance Feel Effortless). The winning teams were announced and recognised during iFX EXPO International 2026, held on 16-18 June at the City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol, giving participants exposure to brokers, fintech companies, investors and financial services professionals from around the world.

Organised by iFX EXPO International, the hackathon was designed to feed emerging technical talent directly into one of the online trading industry's largest gatherings, bridging the gap between developers and the commercial decision-makers attending the expo.
