The Hack{Cyprus} 2019 Hackathon, themed "The Comeback," took place from July 19 to 21, 2019, across six Cypriot cities: Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, Kyrenia, and Famagusta. Organized by LEAD Cyprus and supported by the Cypriot Enterprise Link (CEL), the event gathered over 250 developers, designers, and ideators for a 43-hour coding marathon. Participants collaborated intensively to develop innovative projects, culminating in presentations evaluated by a panel of judges. The hackathon featured various awards, including prizes for the top three country winners and city-specific recognitions

Rules

Team Composition: Teams could consist of up to five members; individual participation was also permitted.Project Development: While ideation and design were allowed beforehand, all coding had to commence at the event.Technology Stack: Participants were free to use any technology, programming language, or hardware.Intellectual Property: Teams retained full ownership and IP rights of their creations.Submission Requirements: Projects were submitted via a GitHub repository link accompanied by a one-minute demonstration video.
