Cyprus joins the EUDIS Defence Hackathon this October — dual-use tech, EU-wide pitch

Cyprus is on the map for the EUDIS Defence Hackathon Autumn 2026 — the EU Defence Innovation Scheme's flagship hackathon, running simultaneously across eight European countries on 15–17 October 2026. It's the first time the island joins the line-up, with C.D. Multimedia Services Ltd hosting the local edition.

This edition's theme is Autonomy on the Battlefield: teams build autonomous systems and robotics for operational advantage across air, land, sea and space. If you work in dual-use or defence tech — or want to — this is a direct route in.

Who it's for: students, developers, engineers, researchers and founders. You'll form a multidisciplinary team of 3–5, get hands-on mentorship from defence-industry experts, and compete for a spot in the EU-wide pitching competition. Past editions have turned weekend prototypes into real startups.
